The role of the Services Industry Apprenticeship Support Officer is seen as critical in helping to provide a solution to addressing attrition rates in the Services industry and will encompass the following:
- Providing apprentice career and training information
- Learning support for apprentices
- Mentoring support and links to apprenticeship support services
- Monitoring apprentice progress, particularly those identified as at risk.
